Far West NSW communities now have a safer and more reliable road following the completion of a historic $48.8 million sealing of Pooncarie Road.
Jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments, the upgrades were delivered by Wentworth Shire Council and Central Darling Shire Council between 2021 and 2024.
