Almost $200 million in new funding has been earmarked to implement a number of the recommendations from NSW's independent Flood Inquiry.
The inquiry recommended additional flood rescue vehicles be implemented, including 60 inflatable rescue boats and 16 high clearance vehicles, as well as the training of 2350 additional flood rescue operators.
