Just before 10 am on Tuesday, November 8, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a remote rural property at Carinda, southwest of Walgett, to reports of a male suffering a serious eye injury.
The chopper and its critical care medical team attended the property, treating and stabilising the man before he was flown directly to Walgett Hospital for further treatment.
