Regular travellers on the Mitchell Highway between Dubbo and Narromine will need to factor delays into their travel over the next few months as a new safety upgrade takes place.
The roadworks impact a 2.2-kilometre stretch between Minore and Brummgen Curve, and are part of the Towards Zero Safer Roads Program.
The project is expected to take about five months to complete, weather permitting.
