The fourth giraffe calf born at Taronga Western Plains Zoo during the spring season has officially been named ‘Chacha’ following a public vote.
Born to experienced mother Ntombi on International Zookeepers Day in October, Chacha received 62 per cent of the votes, making him the clear favourite among the public.
