Of all the jokes and banter about the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the most often heard comment is that supporters of the famous ‘cardinal and myrtle’ jersey don’t have any teeth. So it was perhaps appropriate when our elected state and local representatives painted their versions of team mascot Reggie the Rabbit, they made sure his lips were closed.
