Rewinding back to 1981, when then, Prince Charles, visited Australia for a five-week tour, Dubbo local Helen Akerstrom strapped horses for him at the Warwick Farm Racecourse.
Ms Akerstrom was working for John and Susan Rydge when she was asked to strap the horses the prince was riding.
Prince Charles competed in the Dunhill International Series.
