The fourth Giraffe calf born at Taronga Western Plains Zoo last spring now has the catchy name Chacha after a public vote was finalised last month.
The male calf was born to experienced mother Ntombi on International Zookeepers Day, in October 2024, the fourth calf of the spring and the 64th overall to be born to the Zoo’s breeding conservation program for the species.
