This was the sky over Dubbo on Sunday morning, where distant clouds interrupted the dawn light into visible and stunning rays. Shot by our early rising staffer, Yvette, she said the sight was more amazing to her, to think how the light in that photo travelled 150 million kilometres from the Sun to Earth, in eight minutes. "I wish I knew how to do that... I'd probably get to work on time a lot more often," she said.
