Students in Year 9 and 10 from Dubbo School of Distance Education travelled from near and far to take part in a week-long Shearing School at Dubbo TAFE recently.
A partnership between the Department of Education and TAFE, the program sees the students get hands-on experience with sheep, gaining units of competency in a Statement of Attainment in Basic Sheep Shearing.
