Pioneering Aboriginal soldier John (Jack, Jackie) Sloan from Condobolin is being memorialised with a book and exhibition launch following a recent NSW Government grant to assist the project.
The money will go towards producing the work “Battle Scars” and an art exhibition being held at Forbes Services Club with a Commemorative Service and wreath-laying also at Eugowra Memorial Park.
