Dependable water supplies have historically been a struggle for many towns in western NSW, however Cobar will soon enjoy improved reliability thanks to two new high-tech pump stations.
The new facilities to be built at both Nyngan and Hermidale are designed to ensure water is pumped more efficiently to the mining town on the Barrier Highway west of both communities.
