The state government’s 12-month trial of average speed cameras for light vehicles at two locations will go ahead, in an effort to reduce the state’s rising road toll, particularly in regional areas.
The cameras will be installed on the Pacific Highway between Kew and Port Macquarie, and the Hume Highway between Coolac and Gundagai.
