United States President Donald Trump’s recent declaration of 10 per cent trade tariffs on Australian agriculture will hurt both local farmers and American consumers, NSW Farmers says.

While the state’s peak farming body was disappointed at the announcement, NSW Farmers President Xavier Martin, believes this latest trade challenge would be worked through and urged farmers to remain calm.
