Up close and so much fun

Up close and so much fun.

With locals looking to the sky over the last week, the chance to see one of the six aircraft currently based at Dubbo Regional Airport drew a big crowd to the free RAAF PC-21 Static Display and Information Session on Friday, April 12.

It was hard to see who was having the best time, as locals of all ages inspected the plane from every angle, taking photos and enjoying the opportunity to speak with Ben Sawley, the Commanding Officer of 1 Flying Training School with the RAAF (who grew up in Gilgandra), and the trainee pilots and instructors.

A big thank you to the RAAF team who were perfect hosts, posing for photos, answering questions and leaving locals with nothing but praise for the event and all involved.
